For many years, people did not consider the word “sporty” to describe the Buick brand. But recently, the automaker has been hard at work changing that perception. Its next step has been the announcement of a Sport Touring Edition of the 2017 Buick Enclave.
On display at the New York Auto Show in March, the 2017 Enclave Sport Touring Edition boasts an athletic appearance that shows the Buick brand is not messing around.
Other Buick models have already received Sport Touring editions in the previous model year—including the LaCrosse, Regal, Verano, and Encore—so it’s about time the midsize SUV got the same treatment. It’s getting many attractive upgrades, such as a Satin Black grille, HID headlights, 20-inch chrome wheels, and a decked-out interior. It comes in two trim options—Leather and Premium.
The Enclave itself is already sporty, boasting 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque with its V6 engine. So, its visual additions only enhance the capabilities it already had.
