For many years, people did not consider the word “sporty” to describe the Buick brand. But recently, the automaker has been hard at work changing that perception. Its next step has been the announcement of a Sport Touring Edition of the 2017 Buick Enclave.

On display at the New York Auto Show in March, the 2017 Enclave Sport Touring Edition boasts an athletic appearance that shows the Buick brand is not messing around.

Other Buick models have already received Sport Touring editions in the previous model year—including the LaCrosse, Regal, Verano, and Encore—so it’s about time the midsize SUV got the same treatment. It’s getting many attractive upgrades, such as a Satin Black grille, HID headlights, 20-inch chrome wheels, and a decked-out interior. It comes in two trim options—Leather and Premium.

The Enclave itself is already sporty, boasting 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque with its V6 engine. So, its visual additions only enhance the capabilities it already had.

GMC Announces Features of the 2017 GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition

GMC has released many attractive special editions of its models over the years, such as Elevation and All Terrain X Editions of the Sierra. Now, the Terrain SUV is getting its own special edition, complete with a dark appearance and highlighted features.

The automaker announced earlier that a special “blacked-out” version of its five-passenger compact SUV will be available in limited quantities. Exterior shade options are summit white, onyx black, graphite grey metallic, and crimson metallic—each with distinct black accents.

Features of the 2017 GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition include a charcoal-colored grille with black surround, black fascia accents, black license plate trim, black exterior mirrors, black luggage rails and 18-inch aluminum wheels with black spokes. The Terrain Nightfall Edition certainly lives up to its name!

“The new Terrain Nightfall Edition adds another great-looking and well-equipped choice for this popular SUV—one that will stand out in a crowd,” explained Duncan Aldred, vice-president of GMC Sales & Marketing.

The Nightfall Edition package is available on the SLE-2 and SLT model trims, with a choice of a 2.4-liter or 3.6-liter engine. You can find the Nightfall Edition of the Terrain on sale this fall at Varney Buick GMC.
